Our ‘Digital technology: empowering care’ spotlight highlights how digital technology can provide better care outcomes for people supported, as well as opportunities for staff to develop their careers in care.
In September, we’re focusing on how digital technology enhances adult social care.
Technology improves care quality, efficiency, and personalisation by automating admin tasks and enabling more meaningful support. It helps people maintain independence and offers care workers better tools for learning and development, leading to a more skilled and motivated workforce.
Examples include digital care records, robotics, and support with everyday tasks like online banking. The campaign will highlight real-life stories and provide resources to help organisations adopt and benefit from digital solutions.
By improving digital skills and confidence for care workers, we can take full advantage of the innovative ways in which technology can and is being used in social care.
